Our Environmental Impact
Every piece of reclaimed lumber we save is a step toward a more sustainable future. These numbers grow every day as we continue to divert wood from landfills across Southern California.

Serving Los Angeles
Our impact is independently verified and updated quarterly. Reclaimed lumber prevents methane emissions from decomposing wood in landfills, keeps stored carbon locked in the timber, and eliminates the energy-intensive process of harvesting, transporting, and milling new trees.
From Demolition to Destination
Our five-step process ensures every board that leaves our yard meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.
Source
We partner with demolition contractors, renovation teams, and property owners across Greater LA to identify high-quality salvageable lumber before it reaches the landfill.
Inspect
Every piece is assessed on site for species, structural integrity, moisture content, and hidden defects. We only accept lumber that meets our baseline quality thresholds.
Process
Salvaged lumber is denailed, cleaned, and run through our metal detectors. We remove fasteners, surface contaminants, and damaged sections with precision equipment.
Grade
Each board is graded using our proprietary four-tier system: Premium, Select, Standard, and Economy. Moisture content, grain density, and structural soundness are all documented.
Deliver
Finished lumber is stored in our climate-controlled warehouse or delivered directly to your site. We offer flatbed delivery across all of Greater Los Angeles with same-week scheduling.
Complete Lumber Solutions
From sourcing reclaimed wood to delivering finished products, we handle every step of the sustainable lumber lifecycle. Whether you need a single slab or a truckload of framing lumber, we have you covered.

Old Wood, New Possibilities
Reclaimed lumber isn't just eco-friendly—it's superior. Decades of natural aging create wood that's denser, more stable, and richer in character than anything harvested today. Old-growth timber features grain density and structural properties that modern plantation wood simply cannot match.
Unmatched Character
Natural patina, nail holes, and weathering create one-of-a-kind textures that cannot be replicated. Every board carries the story of the structure it came from.
Superior Strength
Old-growth wood is denser and more dimensionally stable. Reclaimed Douglas fir averages 20-30 growth rings per inch compared to 4-6 in modern plantation lumber.
Carbon Negative
Reusing lumber prevents methane emissions from landfill decomposition and keeps carbon locked in the wood. Each board foot of reclaimed lumber offsets roughly 3.5 lbs of CO2.
Zero Deforestation
Every reclaimed board means one less tree cut down. We have preserved the equivalent of over 15,000 mature trees through our salvage operations.
Cost Effective
Premium reclaimed lumber often costs 30-40% less than equivalent new old-growth material, which is increasingly scarce and expensive on the open market.
LEED & Green Building Credits
Using reclaimed lumber qualifies for LEED MR Credit 3 (Materials Reuse) and MR Credit 5 (Regional Materials), helping your project earn green building certification.

ECO
Species Spotlight
We stock over 50 species of reclaimed lumber, but these four are among the most sought-after by architects and builders across Los Angeles.
Douglas Fir
The backbone of pre-1960 California construction. Our reclaimed Douglas fir features tight vertical grain with 20-30 rings per inch, far denser than modern plantation fir. Warm amber tones deepen with age.
Janka Hardness
660 lbf
Best Uses
Structural beams, post & beam framing, flooring, decking
Origin
Pacific Northwest old-growth forests
White Oak
Prized for its exceptional hardness and water resistance. Reclaimed white oak from century-old warehouses and barns exhibits extraordinary ray fleck patterns and a honey-gold patina that new oak cannot replicate.
Janka Hardness
1,360 lbf
Best Uses
Flooring, furniture, cabinetry, feature walls
Origin
Eastern U.S. hardwood forests
Redwood
Old-growth redwood is virtually extinct as a commercial product. Our salvaged redwood comes from demolished churches, barns, and water tanks. The heartwood is naturally rot-resistant and will outlast any modern alternative.
